New strategic opportunities right down the line.
The simplified route of the pipeline shown here gives you an initial idea of where your power station, plant, storage facility or distribution system lies in relation to the route at the current planning stage. The precise route will be defined within the scope of an official planning process.
Our graph also shows you where the planned line can be connected to other important existing or planned transport systems, storage facilities or distribution systems. Very interesting connections to alternative supply sources and/or market areas can be developed at these points.
The Emden –Eynatten/Bocholtz line begins at the entry point in Emden. It passes the Nüttermoor and Jengum storage facilities and offers the chance of a connection to the transport systems of the Dutch Gas Transport Services (GTS) and of Gasunie Germany.
A branch is also possible to Wilhelmshaven if required to connectthe LNG terminal that is being planned here as well as to the existing storage facility in Etzel.
In its further course the line also passes Europe's biggest cavern storage system in the Gronau-Epe/Kalle region.
From here the route continues towards Werne with the opportunity of connections to the transmission systems of E.ON Gastransport and Wingas Transport.
The line then runs around the south of the Ruhr region to Bergisch Gladbach and from here to the natural gas hub in the tri-border region near Aachen with possibilities for connection to the transmission systems of the Belgian Fluxys, the Dutch Gas Transport Services (GTS) as well the transmission system of Wingas Transport. Your wishes and transport requirements are dicisive for the planning of connections.
