In accordance with the Cooperation Agreement Gas III (KoV III), annex 4 “Provisions for biogas between network operators – guidelines for cost allocation for biogas (interim solution)”, Thyssengas GmbH is publishing the amount of the biogas contribution for the market areas Thyssengas H-Gas and Thyssengas L-Gas. The amount of these is determined, among other things, according to the forecast biogas costs in our own network spanning market areas, the forecast costs announced to us by downstream network operators in the market area and network tariffs avoided as per § 20a Ordinance on Tariffs for the Gas Network Access (GasNEV).

The network tariffs of Thyssengas GmbH at the network interconnection points to downstream networks and network connection points to end consumers will increase as of 01.01.2009 by the biogas allocation amount specifically calculated and published. Exit points to storage facilities and market area and border crossing points are exempt from the biogas contribution as per Cooperation Agreement Gas III, annex 4.

The biogas contribution for the current contribution period amounts to:

  • Biogas contribution Thyssengas H-Gas: €0.20/(kWh/h)/a
  • Biogas contribution Thyssengas L-Gas: €0.11/(kWh/h)/a
