Balancing and settlement energy surcharge
As of 01/04/2011, Thyssengas GmbH has merged its market areas with the cross-quality market area of NetConnect Germany GmbH & Co. KG. Against this background, Thyssengas will not charge any balancing and settlement energy surcharge. The balancing and settlement energy surcharge will be levied by Net Connect Germany GmbH & Co. KG, Ratingen, as of 1 April 2011.
Status of the surcharge account
The balancing group network operators are required to post costs and revenues for balancing and settlement energy on a separate surcharge account and to publish the balance on that surcharge account at monthly intervals.
The balance of the surcharge account for the Thyssengas H-Gas market area as to 31/03/2011 amounts to: € -19.072.436,57.
The balance of the surcharge account for the Thyssengas L-Gas market area as to 31/03/2011 amounts to: € -59.595.077,10.
The published monthly balance of the Thyssengas balancing energy surcharge accounts represents a snapshot by 31/03/2011 and accounts for the receivables and payables posted. Against the background that not all items allocable to control balancing energy surcharge accounts since 01/10/2008 have so far been finally settled, conclusions concerning the future development of the balancing energy surcharge and individual items of the balancing energy surcharge account are presently barely possible.
