General information on GeLi Gas
To handle changes of supplier within the gas sector, the Federal Network Agency has established uniform business processes across Germany with the Resolution on “Business processes, change of supplier - gas” (GeLi Gas BK7-06-067) of 20.08.2007.
Important:EDIG@S-Code numbers are not permitted as addresses for the change of supplier process. To ensure smooth market communication in connection with the business processes of a change of supplier gas (GeLi Gas) please use only the following DVGW-Code: 9870009600007
From 1 August 2008, the business processes and defined EDIFACT message types per GeLi Gas must be used uniformly by all market participants across Germany.
The Federation of the Energy and Water Industry (BDEW) has published the current message types in agreement with the Federal Network Agency for the implementation date of 1 August 2008 underwww.edi.energy.de
Thyssengas applies the provisions of the GeLi Gas on a non-discriminatory basis vis-à-vis all suppliers in its network areas. The option of differing special arrangements for individual sales organisations is not applied.
The metering point identifier assigned to each exit point is an element of the network point information in the Info Wizard and in the point selection wizard within the Electronic Booking System.
In addition to the processes under GeLi Gas, Thyssengas is required by law to provide an online booking process for setting up network access and allocating capacity, and to apply it vis-à-vis all shippers.
This is available for the booking of entry and exit capacities not already contracted and for the conclusion of entry and exit contracts only in the Electronic Booking System.
In the event of a change of supplier, the corresponding registration and deregistration according to GeLi Gas via the Supplier Change Mailbox mentioned above is the prerequisite for any capacity booking.
Portfolio lists are transmitted in the EDIFACT message format UTILMD or in the message format csv. The shippers decide in coordination with their Capacity Management contact persons which of the message formats they want to use.
These Contact Persons are also available to clarify further questions in connection with the change processes and capacity allocation.
